Tune in this week to learn all about an identity-centric approach to zero-trust security
Webcast The adoption of mobile and cloud, and the coronavirus pandemic forcing people to work from home, shows you can no longer rely on computer security based on a simple network perimeter.
Instead, you need to securely grant data and software access to individual staff, contractors, and so on, regardless of their location, device, or network. You need a concept of zero-trust security, which, as the name suggests, means you should trust no one until they are fully identified and authenticated. You can no longer assume someone is an employee based on whether or not they are on an office network, or have got through some outer system perimeter.
There is no silver bullet in achieving a zero-trust architecture. The identity and access management is the core technology that sets the stage for the zero-trust journey. People become the new perimeter, with identity forming the critical component to establishing a secure environment.
The Register‘s Simon Sharwood will host a webcast discussing this topic, and he will be joined by Karunanand Menon of Okta APAC, and Harry Wang of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. The trio will cover:
- The shifts in the security landscape that paved the way for zero trust
- What the zero-trust ecosystem looks like today
- How to build an effective zero-trust program and architecture for the future
Register right here for this webcast, brought to you by Okta, and join us on July 29 at 1130 SGT.
