The rising risk of eavesdropping

Webinar There is a folk tale of a woman, who on being told a secret burned to tell someone what she had heard. Believing that it was safe to do so, she whispered the secret into a hole in the ground only to hear it broadcast far and wide.

It’s not necessarily a fantasy though. Even today when we are using consumer messaging apps, there is an assumption we can communicate securely, and that remote working using smartphones and other devices won’t make us any less secure. If only that was true.

Because protecting our messaging infrastructure from the disruption of a cyber attack is getting increasingly hard as hybrid working becomes the rule rather than the exception for many of us. And if the worst were to happen, what would we do to recover?

Join our special regcast on 11 July at 11am BST when Dr Andy Lilly from Armour Comms will analyse the risks and offer expert advice on how to avoid being compromised. He’ll be joined by a very special guest from National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), who stands ready to outline the government organisation’s Secure Communication Principles, and explain why they exist and how to implement them. Between them, our guests will provide everything you need to know about creating and maintaining a workable secure communications infrastructure.

This is a live broadcast only and won’t be available to watch on catch up. So sign up here to make sure you don’t miss this indispensable webinar.
